Big Cats Class Big Cats Class is a guided semi-formal class of 11 children. We use a personalised learning approach to meet the needs of our pupils. We focus on how best each pupil learns and celebrates the different abilities and achievements of each individual. We love to learn through purposeful play, whole class sessions and learning around our interactive board or in the great outdoors, in differentiated small group sessions sat at tables, as well as 1:1 focussed sessions with an adult. We enable pupils to become good communicators, develop thinking skills and the ability to problem solve through engaging and meaningful activities. Learning is topic based allowing for cross curricular opportunities. We incorporate Communication, Literacy, Mathematics, PSED and PE into our everyday sessions. We also learn about our exciting topics through Science, Computing, Art, DT, Geography, History and Music.  A real emphasis is placed on Personal, Social and Emotional Development as well as building relationships. We are a happy and fun class with a love for learning who are always willing to take on a challenge!
