Adventurers is a structured Early Years class of 8 children. Our classroom is low distraction, structured and calming. The classroom and outdoor areas are enabling environments that reflects the EYFS principles with areas of learning available for pupils to access and develop their independence skills, using the EYFS continuous provision approach in a way that is manageable for the pupils. We adopt a personalised learning approach with a focus on relationships, communication and independence. Our environment is a place where children feel safe to explore, play and learn. We offer a mix of child-led, play based learning opportunities alongside more structured small group and 1:1 adult led learning. Our learning sessions are practical, sensory and motivating.
