School Council

Following the excitement of our Spring Term election fever, we are proud to introduce our newly formed School Council. Our council gives pupils a real voice in school life and helps everyone feel valued, listened to and involved.

This year, our School Council includes special leadership roles to ensure meetings are calm, inclusive and accessible for all:

• Chairperson – I help lead the meeting and make sure everyone gets a turn to take part.
• Buddies – I say hello and help everyone feel calm and ready.
• Messenger – I tell or show classes and adults what we talked about.

Our elected council members also work in three focused teams, each with an important role in improving school life:

• Events Team – helping to plan and support fun and exciting school events
• Wellbeing Team – Helping to make sure everyone feels safe, happy and cared for
• Pupil Voice Team – collecting thoughts, ideas and feelings from pupils and sharing them with adults

Together, our School Council helps make sure that every voice matters and that pupils play an active part in shaping our school community.
